Hi All

We bought an off-plan studio at Andriana 2 in 2007 and it completed in 2010.

I know there is a developer mortgage on the property and Alpha Bank have issued us a waiver in respect of this.

I am trying to find out the position of our Title Deeds.

Paschalis are ignoring our emails (even to the personal email address of the owner) and phone calls and our solicitor (EL of course) says she can find out if we pay her. I am loathe to throw any more money at this place if I don't have to.

Has anyone else on this complex had any luck with finding out where the Deeds are yet please?

I live in the UK so am unable to visit the Pashcalis offices.

Also, if I wanted to sell the property now, would I be able to with the Deeds??

The first thing you need to do is dump EL!!!!!!!!!!

Then instruct a decent lawyer to progress this issue on your behalf.

You can find what mortgages are owed from the N50 search document. It is possible that they may be paid up, but I doubt it. No bank will divulge any personal info to you.

At the same time you can ask at the land registry the status of the title deeds, at least to the extent if any application has been made to get them.

Could not agree more with the initial advice of Nigel. You only have to type her name in to google to get a bucket load of info.

On the firing side, as I did it some years ago, you must put it in writing confirming that all fees are paid up to date with nothing outstanding and if you are not in Cyprus nominate someone to pick up your files. for your wellbeing you must get your files!!
