Hi Nigel,

I am not sure if my query reached you earlier on another forum discussion but am reaching out with my query again.
I bought a one-bed apt in Oroklini, Larnaca in 2009 through Bank of Cyprus. They sold me the mortgage proposition in Swiss Francs. Now with the current scenario, its becoming extremely difficult to pay up the mortgage. I have not been able to pay up my mortagge for almost 6 months now and the interest is mounting up. I fear its going to land up in a very bad situation.

Can you advise what options do I have to negotiate with the bank as many buyers like me are in the same spot.

I'm afraid that many people are having problems maintaining their Swiss Franc loan repayments. I have sent you a list of a number of groups that are negotiating with the banks and suing the banks over the mis-selling of loans.
