Also think off Gavin Jones whose letter published to-day in the Cyprus mail describes how many feel about the Disciplinary Board and there treatment off victims by there rogue elements.

Just to let everyone know that a further case will be heard by the CBA Disciplinary Committee on November 23rd involving another British buyer and another lawyer.

Evening folks. Thanks for the good wishes. Best of luck to whoever is going on the 23rd.

Well that is the hearing concluded with, in my opinion, no evidence being produced by The Stigette to counter the charges. Quite simply and beyond all logic her defence was that I was a liar and that I had given her permission to delay registering my original contract and subsequently permission sign and register another contract on my behalf some years later. If anyone can tell me why I would do this I would love to hear from them. She couldn't.

As a warning be very careful about giving out Powers of Attorney. Luckily for me mine was restricted in that it contained a condition indicating that it could only be acted upon in conjunction with a subsequent FAXED authority from me.

The verdict in the case was reserved and will be issued at a later date so I am afraid it is back to the waiting game.

Did they give you a clue when you would be informed on the Board Decision ?

I think you summed up well on her defense beyond belief !!

Did she have a reason for not registering the House contract, Reason I ask is I have a similar case that the house I purchased the vendors also had not registered there purchase it makes you think if this is common in Paphos with lawyers not registering contracts and then obtaining large loans for there developer friends ?

Yes I have so has my MEP & BHC Mr Doros Ioanides President off the CBA and also board member sent a astonishing reply, He told me to not to contact him or the CBA as I had sworn at him. (But refuses once again to produce any evidence to back this up )

He also told me to desist with anything to do with Cyprus.

He refuses to explain in writing the action off his members.

Nigel as two off the lawyers involved are senior office holders of the CBA and hold important positions on such as the Legislation & Administrive councils, Local Bar Association.

May explain the reluctance on Doros to take on these VIPs

Both these lawyers where also involved in Non-Property legal cases involving me, which there legal opinion was destroyed in court.

So maybe this is revenge ?

Regarding my house, The Interior Ministry at the urging off the BHC & MEP carried out a investigation into the purchase & title deeds.

They found the Sellers off the house I purchased where not the legal owners and that the lawyers had then bought the house in the vendors name and registered the title deeds in the vendors name, leaving me in the strange position off having my contract lodged in my name at the L/Registry but at the same time the deeds been put in the name off the vendors.

The Interior Ministry now refuses to give any further information just saying it should be a court matter. I think like Doros they dont want to tangle with the big hitter VIP lawyers ?


When I gave evidence against the two lawyers in court one off them ran away before the case was called I was then told by other lawyers to leave Cyprus for my safety also other witnesses have been assaulted and threatened in similar fashion.

My house has been completlely robbed since but Insurance can not find any Police Case number or Officer involved. The Former Chief of Police also refused to give this information.

But on the Bright side lets hope Andy P gets a result against the Stiquette

Only problem was I never swore at the man I actually never even met him, when he accused me off swearing at him I emailed him straight away to correct him and assure him on this matter.

At the same time I attached further evidence on my Lawyer

(graduated 1989 from Athens achieved being head off his district bar by 2000 formed a business company with a leading CEO off a major developer who is also a ex-Govt minister)

I also gave him written evidence from the Ombudswoman & IPCC on the Cyprus police where they both admitted the Former Chief of police refused to give out the case number & investigating Officer, At the same time the Ombudswoman pointed out my lawyer was a VIP and a well known lawyer.

After doing this Doros replied I was continuing to swear at him Amazing as the email contained not one swear word

Conclusion Doros the President of the CBA is grasping at any straw to save himself from commiting in writing a defense off his members exposed by the ROC Interior Ministry, the Central bank (who also investigated ) the UK FSA

All came to the same conclusion criminal fraud had been committed by both legal firms, As a Matter off interest Doros term as president finishes in 2012 so he may just be stalling using such tactics as alleged swearing (he would find QCs in Scotland not to his taste then ) to avoid trying to explain senior Office holders one off them may even take his position.

Further to the last I think the swearing is very much a red herring and a excuse used by the CBA President till he gets his term off office finishes.

My own lawyer has returned fees I paid him but will not release any off my documents which in his role as a senior office holder off the CBA he had by his written admission collected from other law firms. sad but true.

Now my lawyer in his position is in my opinion one off the worst offenders, Many have sent complaints to the CBA about him ALL are treated by the CBA to silence, When the Interior Ministry who supplied the evidence on him suddenly refused to reply to the EU & MEPS / BHC it came to light his business partner was a EX Interior minister plus a Defense Minister

CPAG also highlighted on there web-site the case of the UN family given false info on there house they sold. My lawyer wrote the pathetic letter that deductions had been given to First Choice Holidays. or another case where he acted for a lovely Scots woman who paid in full 13 years ago to buy her house. only to find they had not registered the sale/contract with the L/R and over the years The E&P = developer and lawyer had taken out mortgages on her house>

Now Nigel Does Doros who insists in his email he his accepted by all off Europe as the leading man for the Cypriot lawyers in the ROC.

I can only add accepted but is he respected ? Nigel why not ask Doros to come on the forum Andy P has fought for many years plus huge expenditure on flights etc, The lawyer with Conor commits perjury, Gavin Jones lawyer and so many more.

Maybe Doros will come on the forum (I will not swear !!!)

I have no idea of timescales for a verdict Scots Lad and none of her defence made any sense whatsoever unless of course I agreed that it was a good idea to delay registering my contract until such times as the developer mortgaged my house.

In terms of your own predicament and those of others you should not give up. However you need to proceed on a logical and informed basis. No one should give The Cypriot authorities any excuse for dismissing their case as they will probably take it, no matter how small, swearing or otherwise. Keep calm, be reasonable and stick to the facts.

Have to agree the Stiguette defense was very much fantasy. You and other victims off her we can only hope get justice and full compensation.

My own case is straight forward

The CBA cannot explain why two senior office Holders can declare in writing that there legal actions where correct, Which Cypriot judges plus two other countries declared was not, My own lawyer lied and tried to tell me in writing all was correct and lawfull. Shame he will not return any legal documents after his legal opinion was destroyed in court.

House I think has been shown was criminal fraud.

Robbery The police hiding case numbers, Investigating officers, refusal to reply or acknowledge even other country police forces


Swearing or being nice really does not matter as Doros & CBA leadership are determined to protect the senior office holders whether they are guilty or not, The rights off clients do not enter into the Rusveti CBA.

Frankly It shows that the CBA does not have a few bad apples but corruption and crookness is wide-spread reaching into the heart off the CBA.

So Doros using as a excuse claiming I swore at him is a red herring, The real reason is he will not commit himself in writing because he knows very well that senior office holders who sit in council with him where caught red-handed. There is no excuse The President off the Law Society of Scotland would never act in such a way.
