Hi Nigel how can you find out why the complex doesn't have a certificate of approval
We don't have a mortgage but we won't our title deeds.

I expect the reason for not having a Certificate of Final Completion is that the estate has not been completed. To find out for sure you'll need to check with the planning authority.

We don't have a mortgage but we won't our title deeds. Most of the complex is empty but the developer has a lot of rentals and the complex is not finished . (Not a lot of money about ) .

Reasons for no Certificate of Final approval could be from a number of reasons, but here's a few:

1. Complex not finished
2. No application made
3. Fail approval for non conformities

Now, the best way to find out would be to go to the District Authority office (Eparxio), taking your contract and passport or ID and make enquiries there.
