selling land in Cyprus

Hi.

I have inherited land from my mum (who was Cypriot) The deeds have all been transferred in to my, my sister and brother's name. We are looking to have the land valued with a view to perhaps selling some of it. We have a map from the Land Registry which has most of the land marked. We have a large piece and several smaller pieces just outside of Limassol. We don't know how to go about doing any of this and would appreciate any advice and guidance please.

Kind Regards

Tina

Hello Tina and welcome to the forum

The first thing I suggest you go is get the land valued. The valuers' Association has a website at http://www.propertyvaluers.org.cy/index.php?lang=el that lists their members - or you could try to get a valuation from the estate agent handling the sale.

Once you have a valuation you can advertise the land yourself in the local pares, Internet, etc or use an estate agent.

That's about it.

Regards,
