Building a house - who can sign the plans?
Building a house - who can sign the plans?
Hello, we are going to build a prefabricated timberframe house, we have an architect, but as I understand we would need also certified engineers to sign the drawings? The question is, do we need only Cypriot licensed electrician for electrical drawings or HVAC and water should be as well Cypriot licensed? There are several freelancers online who can do all the MEP drawings and cooperate with our architect. Is it worth searching or at the end we will need local guys? Thank you!

Anyone can draw the plans but whoever signs the plans must be registered with the authorities.

My understanding is that the Architect must sign the dwgs. But they can be prepared by anyone.
