Hello.
I bought my apartment in 2007. The purchase price included VAT.
Does the payment of VAT as part of the purchase price mean that I will not have to pay any monies for my title deeds (which I've already applied for under the recent legislation)?
I ask as I seem to recall reading something which suggested that the payment of VAT means the payment of nil in title deeds costs.
Many thanks for any advice.

Hi Blueboy1875 and welcome to the forum.
If you paid VAT on the purchase price of the property, you will pay no Property Transfer Fees.

Re: Title Deeds and VAT - Query
Thanks for clarifying that, Nigel. Some positive financial news at last in relation to my tortuous purchase in Cyprus!
