Hi Nigel,
Just wondered what other property taxes are there that need to be paid on an annual basis once individual title deeds are given to the developer. Reason I ask is we have two 51 euro on the bill from the developer just stating property tax and nothing more.
Thanks.
Trish

Re: Property Taxes
Hi Trish,
I live in an annual Community Charge (I live in a Community rather than a Municipality or Town). You'll need to do the same. It get a bit confusing because the town charge is called an Immovable Property Town Tax (which is something different from the Immovable Property Tax paid to the Inland Revenue).
The annual Community/Town charge/tax is similar to the Council Tax in the UK (but much, much less). I think I paid around €180 last year.
Cheers,
