Re: Cyprus Banks taking legal action in UK
Yea, I could not expect anyone to work for free and I'm sure they are plagued with people like me. I'll see what I can figure out.

Re: What if I default...?
I'm in the same situation. It's just terrible. The bank are willing to help. But they want their money. I tried the above lawyers but they seem to need cash to investigate. Understandably as its silly to work for free. I have ceased paying the banks but it's the worst thing to do. I'm hoping an ...

Re: Cyprus Banks taking legal action in UK
Tried the suggested lawyers. They said there is a case. But will only provide uk law advice. It makes me think they can't really for sure say if there is grounds.
They need £1500 up front to review the case. Then more to actually do anything with it. So back to square one. No cash to pay lawyers ...

Re: Emily Lemoniati
calm down guys, I see what you are trying to do. To keep it easy for everyone, create a website and add your factual statements including links to press releases etc. Then you can build your case. When it comes to other peoples websites - I see the point.

Re: Cyprus Banks taking legal action in UK
Yea - heard that, I was thinking 6 months may help me find someone. But its a royal mess. Ultimately I want out - If this is a way of keeping me from court then I'll do it. I'll be waiting for a test case to go over and then make my move.

Re: Cyprus Banks taking legal action in UK
Ive sent my whole case off to the mentioned firms, hopefully they can advise me on what action to take. I got a response from the bank offering to reduce payments for 6 months while I find a long term tenant. They say that the rental will cover the loan and all will be ok. I think I'll go with this ...

Re: Cyprus Banks taking legal action in UK
It's so frustrating, I spend so much time reading and reading forums on line and then find out that all my hope from one days reading is dashed the next. I am totally freaked out that the bank will come to the UK and make me lose my family home. I don't care about the rest of it, but my home has ...

BSN legal? Anyone had them call to offer legal services?
I have had them call and really press me to sign an invoice to begin legal proceedings against my lawyer and developer, with my case I have forged documents and the development went past the quoted delivery. They say they can win an out of court settlement if I pay them £1200 to begin work.
