Management Committee
Dear Nigel
One of the owners on our complex has given his property manager his power of attorney, letter of authorisation, and his title deeds.
The property manager wants to join the committee.
Obviously the other owners would need to vote on this at an AGM.
My question is, is it legal, or ...

On Line Ballot for Communal Fee Allocation
If we want to have a vote to legalise our current fee allocation method, of charging by the number of bedrooms,
Can we legally have the vote by an on-line ballot, (very few owners are actually resident in Cyprus)?
If we must follow the letter of the law, could we pre-empt the fee calculation method ...

Re: transfer of EAC communal electricity meters to the committee
How do I get my name removed as guarantor for our Communal Electricity account? We changed from our developer to a property Management Company in March this year and the EAC insisted I give my name, as chairperson, as guarantor for the account. I wish to change that.
How do I go about that? Any ...

75% owners vote
Dear Nigel,
I am looking for some clarification of the 75% rule for voting.
is it:
a. 75% of all owners
b. 75% of owners eligible to vote,(up to date with their fees).
c. 75% of owners eligible to vote and who bother to reply.
Many thanks in advance

Communal Internet Service
An owner in our complex 0f 2 blocks with 13 units in one and 14 in the other, has suggested a communal internet service. Is this at all feasible, has anybody any experience of this, and if so, can you give me a rough idea of the cost please.
Many Thanks in advance

Communal Fee Rebate
Dear Nigel,
One of our owners is in the process of selling her apartment. She has paid her communal fees in full and her solicitor has told her to ask for a pro-rata reimbursement when the sale is finalised. Is this the normal procedure?
Thanks in advance
Regards

Communal Fee Structure
We will be moving from being managed by our developer to a management company. Under the developer, our fee structure was according to the number of bedrooms. If we want to keep it that way under the new management, what do we have to do to make it legally acceptable?
Thanks in advance.
