Paphos Sewerage Board
Before you obtain your title deeds your builder/developer pays various taxes and costs on your behalf. They then claim the monies back from you on a "Statement for Title Deeds" that you have to pay to start the title deeds process. This includes Council Tax up to when you get your deeds and IPT up ...

Re: Payment of IPT 2016 via JC Smart
Hi again Nigel
Just to say that I am registered with jccsmart and paid on line last year. However, I was unable to access my IPT info. this year and that together with the invoicing errors led to my trip to the Tax Office.
Kind regards
Henry

Re: Payment of IPT 2016 via JC Smart
Hi Nigel
You are correct as each of the 2016 IPT invoices showed 100% of the 1980 property value.
I went to the Tax Office this morning and a visit to "Room 101" saw the invoices corrected for payment. Also, the amended invoices each allowed for a credit of 10% of the 2015 IPT that I had paid when ...

Re: Payment of IPT 2016 via JC Smart
Hi Nigel
The basic calculation is the same as last year except for the full property value being used on each invoice. My neighbour's IPT invoice has been drawn up on the same basis. I'll visit the tax office next week.
Kind regards
Henry

Re: Payment of IPT 2016 via JC Smart
Hello
My wife and I have received our 2016 IPT invoices. However, they are in Greek and show 100% of the property value for each of us instead of an equal split. Is this merely incompetence or what?

Hi again Nigel
I'll explain what I did to enable me to pay the 2015 IPT online which hopefully will be of help to other Forum members. I simply emailed our T.I.C. numbers to the following gentleman and asked for the 2015 IPT JCCsmart references for my wife and me:

Dear Nigel
Thank you very much for the info.
I think that I'll pay online at the end of August and settle for a 10% discount.
Keep up the good work.
Kind regards
Henry

IPT 2015
Dear Nigel
I have used the JCCsmart Portal to view the payment details for my 2015 IPT which shows a discount of 10% if I pay by 31 August 2015.
However, I think that I've read an article mentioning that the authorities may well repeat last year's 15% discount.
Can you please comment?

IPT 2014
Dear Nigel
Many thanks for your helpful guide to filling in the Form I.R. 163A/2014 to register with the Inland Revenue in Cyprus.
Just one point of clarification - in section 22 does this require my Cyprus address or my Home (i.e. residential address)?
Logically, I suppose it is the former ...
