When selling a house when the Title Deeds are ready what is the best option :-
1. to purchase the Deeds and then transfer them to purchasers.
or
2. to let the purchaser purchase them.
or is there other options that are preferred / cost effective for seller ?
Thank you

IPT - Do we owe the Developer ?
IPT
Now we are responsible for the IPT but previously it was the responsibility of the Developer (as he owned the land).
Is it a requirement that the IPT is paid back to the Developer when obtaining the Title Deeds ?

Re: Title Deeds - sole name to joint name
Hi Nigel, further to the above advice, my husband has now had a letter to say the Title Deeds are ready.
Can we now transfer the house into both names so that we pay less for the Deeds ?
What is your advice on this matter.
Kind regards
Tina

The developer has NOT paid of the mortgage, one still exists on the complex
although I have been informed that I am 'safe' due to the fact that my contract
was signed before the mortgage was taken out.
Yes, I agree, I thought that about the estate agents, but the two I have contacted
